2010- Amanda feeling burdened that something is missing from the family (a child)
July 2011- Amanda shared her desire to have another child (outloud).
August 2011- Started researching and praying.
September 4th-Met with the Jay family to hear their adoption story.
September 6th 2011- We both start two weeks of prayer and meditation on if and how to add to our family.
September 18th 2011- Sent in our application to AWAA for the Ethiopia Program!
September 20th, 2011- Officially accepted into the AWAA Ethiopia Program!
October 31st, 2011- Sent in our first initial paperwork and payment, now starts the "paper pregnancy" :)
December 1st 2011- Started our Homestudy Process.
January 15th, 2012- Received our first copy of the Homestudy.
January 27th, 2012 - Recieved notarized copy of the Homestudy.
January 30th, 2012 - I 600A application sent to USCIS
February 8th, 2012 - I 600A application recieved, biometrics scheduled.
February 14th, 2012 - His Little Feet Choir Here
March 13th, 2012 - Biometrics Appointment
March 15th, 2012 - Reviewed addendum for upping age range and adding a sibling request
April 8th, 2012 - Sent our Dossier to AWAA
April 20th, 2012 - Official DTE date!!!
Spring Break, 2013- Saw our son on our agencies Waiting Child List
April 5th, 2013- OFFICIAL REFERAL CALL
April 20th, 2013- Official one year DTE anniversary.
May 29th, 2013 - MOWCYA date- WE PASSED!!!!
June 17th, 2013 - We fly to Ethiopia and have our Court Date- WE PASSED!!!!!!!!
July 25th, 2013- Amanda leaves to go back to Ethiopia to stay until we pass Embassy
August,15 2014- N lands in the US and is HOME!!!!!
